A Message from the Principal

Hello and welcome to the Williams Elementary School web site. As you navigate through the site, you will see the wide variety of activities and opportunities our school provides. As our Statement of Shared Vision indicates, we believe that all children can learn, building strong character is important, parent involvement is critical, safety is  a must, we must be

responsible with our resources,  communication is crucial and encouraging and nurturing children is imperative. Our goal is to provide an environment where children feel welcome, safe, and open to the possibility of learning. We have developed programs to address the needs of all types of learners, from intervention programs to extended day homework help and challenge opportunities. Teachers are working harder than ever before tailoring instruction to match the needs of each and every student. We are very proud of our 801 API score and strive to achieve an even higher level of success!

We encourage parent involvement through volunteering, PTA

activities, attending family events, and helping students at home. This is a critical stage in a child’s education. It is a time to foster independence and responsibility in children as they build their academic foundation.
